Reporting directly to the Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller, this high-level professional position serves as a member of the executive administrative support team. Work entails researching, analyzing, and assisting with the management of legislative and compliance-related policies, procedures and business processes. The position is responsible for ensuring all scheduled commitments are confirmed and accurately reflected on the calendar and that supporting materials are made available to attendees as required prior to meeting dates. Additionally, the position will be responsible for written communication, presentations and meeting talking points for both local and state-related matters. This position provides leadership for a circulation district of the Herald-Tribune in the Sarasota/Manatee area, with distribution from Sarasota. Responsibilities include management, maintenance and contract administration of delivery routes for the circulation of the daily newspaper, as well as alternate publications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in circulation delivery or delivery logistics. Some management experience is preferred.
