MANAGER OF INFORMATION SERVICES The Information Services Department of the Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller - Sarasota, Florida, is currently seeking a Manager of Information Services. The Manager of Information Services provides highly specialized technical oversight, leaderships, and daily operations management for mission critical infrastructure used by enterprise applications within the Clerk of Circuit Court and County Comptroller organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, systems administration, database administrations, security administration, web administration and network administration. This position supervises the technical support and analyst staff. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field is required. Master's degree in Computer Science, or information Sciences, NCE, or MSCE, is preferred. Eight years or more experience in the information technology field; two or more of which were in a supervisory capacity and a minimum of five years in the role of a database administrator, network administrator or storage administrator. The Manager of Information Services should have knowledge and ability to: Administer Informix and MS SQL Administer Microsoft, Unix, and Linux operating software. Competency in Crystal Reports or other third party report generators. TCP/IP protocols, Cisco switching equipment, Server, PC, and storage hardware. Java, Javascript, VBScript, HTML, desktop office tools, and operating platforms in use at the Clerk's office. Rapidly adapt to change and manage multiple competing priorities, as well as solving problems quickly. Prepare design specifications. Perform debugging procedures on programs and data.
